Hello from a new member

Hello!

I've just discovered this forum and am looking forward to increasing my knowledge of the life and times of Richard III.

I've been interested in this period of history for many years and this interest became directed toward Richard in the early 1980's when my parents became members of the Richard III Society. Over time I got side tracked into other areas but always had the interest in Richard. A few years ago I took my son (now 12) to Bosworth as he's also a bit of a history nut and this re-ignited my interest in Richard and his lifetime.

I find it very pleasing the amount of people who are now becoming interested in Richard and wanting to know more about him - especially old school friends who now tell me they now understand why I was so interested in him all those years ago. But I never imagined that his body would actually be found and that so much could be revealed about the man he really was.
